The program for editing text and solving other office tasks consists of six main components:
Writer – a text editor;
Calc – a table processor;
Impress – a tool for working with presentations;
Draw – graphic editor;
Math – utility for working with mathematical calculations;
Base is a component for working with databases.
All the tools of the complex are absolutely free, they are based on open source openoffice.org .
You can open each of the available applications using the built-in manager. The utilities included in the kit contain all the functions that such software has. For example, a spelling checker is available in a text editor, and a table processor can work with charts and generate statistics.
Liber Office can be installed for free on a PC running Windows 7-10, macOS, Linux.

Libre Office replaced an expensive package from Microsoft for me. Typing in the built-in editor is as comfortable as in Word, and the spell check function subjectively even works better.
I can't afford to buy expensive programs, the last thing is to install pirated versions, because you can catch viruses. To work with text, I use the Writer utility included in the free LibreOffice package.
Libre Office, a universal application package, helps me with my studies. With its help, I type abstracts, solve problems on Resistance Math and work with large databases. In fact, it replaced several different programs for me.
